Exceptional service and a great location

My partner and I along with his mother had an opportunity to stay here on a recent visit to frankfurt, Overall our experience was exceptional , the service could not be faulted the housekeeping staff room attendants and turndown staff were efficient and consistent throughout the entire stay , friendly courteous and very efficient in all they did , the common areas were immaculate and kept in pristine condition the rooms exceptionally well presented , We had a great experience at the bar which even when almost full still had a great atmosphere and service did not suffer, the roof top terrace was not available during our stay, The breakfast was a low point for us the service is great but the selection on offer is basic , ok for a single visit but not really for an extended stay , we did not have dinner here , we did not have time or opportunity to visit the day spa , the allure of a sauna and steam room was enticing Neither did we use the gym ( next door ) as the pool was closed , we had been intending to use the pool and sauna , bit as pool was closed there seemed no point , Before the next visit we will ensure all services and facilities are available to minimise the disappointment , Room was comfortable and cell appointed with a lovely view over the park next door , We found the bath a challenge to get in and out of as it is very deep and older people would have difficulty and a non slip may would be a good idea . Concierge and front desk staff were attentive and helpful and always greeted guests n a professional and courteous manner .

I had managed to loose my pills.The night concierge phoned and all night pharmacy and I was able to obtain a duplicate set. The staff generally were extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and I slept well. I didn't like the lift which had a ridiculously complex method of calling. Breakfast was good.As you will see from the photo the porridge they made for me was enormous. So a generally enjoyable stay

Luxurious Hotel in the Heart of Frankfurt.

This hotel is top notch and in a great location to explore the city. Situated right next to the Old Opera House and a stone throw away from the shops and numerous restaurants. The facilities and decor are luxurious and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and the rooms are awesome. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples looking for a 2/3 night city break.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Valet: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reception: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Breakfast: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spa: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Location. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great time in the hotel! The staff, facilities and location are perfectly suited to enjoy Frankfurt. I would recommend getting the upgraded room for more space. Most of the guests were adult couple who wanted to relax and have calm stay. The parking is on the-4 floor and is accessible from Hochstrasse. It is spacious enough for a larger car or SUV. We had a brilliant short vacation in Frankfurt and we will be definitely staying there again soon.

Good but with room for improvement regarding service

Location is great. Hotel has a luxurious feel to it and the lobby + areas are beautifully designed. Breakfast was up to Sofitel-standards (in other words: great). Upgraded the room proactively because of the Platinum status. Room was spacious. However the service aspect really needs improvement. Contacted the FO beforehand as it was my partners birthday. Assured me they would arrange something. Nothing was there. Asked for it, no record of it but they would take care of it. Again, nothing happening. Finally late at night after asking for it 4 times and waiting a long time they delivered a bottle of sparkling wine. Obviously, I do not expect them to do something, but communicating they will arrange something special gives a certain sense of expectation. Also the corridor smelt like weed but this is nothing the hotel can help. Service at breakfast could use improvement too as we had to wait 20 minutes (and had to ask twice) for the coffee and tea. Also had to wait a very long time until we could order some a la carte food. In general I would recommend, but by far not one of the best sofitels I had.
